Stakeholders
Stakeholders can be individuals, organizations, or businesses that may provide financial or other support for the coalition work. They receive newsletter updates about the coalitions activities but do not usually attend coalition meetings.
Steering Committee
The Steering Committee are those coalition members that regularly attend coalition meetings to actively pursue the coalitions vision and mission. Their work includes directing the affairs of the coalition to fulfill the coalition's strategic plan.
Committee Board
The Steering Committee elects a Committee Board with the positions of a Chair, Chair Elect, Past Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. The Committee Board carries out much of the administrative work of the coalition such as maintaining the coalition roster, coalition communication, coordinating and facilitating coalition meetings and monitoring grants and coalition funding.
Coalition Work Groups
As needed, for community events or to address early learning initiatives, coalition members can collaborate in smaller work groups for a specified amount of time to accomplish a needed task.
