Sound to Harbor Head Start and ECEAP provides comprehensive individualized preschool education, health education, and family support to promote family engagement and school readiness. The purpose of Head Start and ECEAP is to promote their school readiness by enhancing their cognitive, social, and emotional development. The high quality learning environment provided by Head Start and ECEAP supports children’s growth in language and literacy; cognition and general knowledge; physical development and health; social and emotional learning; and approaches to learning.

WaKIDS is a process that helps to ensure children entering Kindergarten have a successful start to the K-12 experience. WaKIDS has three components: Family Connection, Whole-Child Assessment, & Early Learning Collaboration.
